Last Week

My mom was put in the hospital for some chest pain.  If you are not familiar or don't remember she has bone cancer and has done wonderful so far.  She has some issues with lymphedema which is the culprit of when she had breast cancer about 6 years ago and had a mastectomy done.  They warned her back then that this could happen and it took 6 years for it to actually happen.

So when I got the text from my dad, I jumped ship with Kendyl and we sailed to Des Moines to be there with them. 

Here are a few pictures from the occasion.  I would show you some pictures of my mom, but you see chemo destroys your hair and I don't think she would appreciate me displaying those pictures for the whole world to see.  So I'll just show you ones of Kendyl and Grant my nephew.
